Instant Rawa Medu Wada

Crispy outside, soft inside and yummy overall, these deep-fried snacks always taste great because of their crunchy texture. Get it right with Gajra’s Rawa Wada. Serve this South Indian breakfast well with chutney.

Ingredients

  •  250 gms Kesari Rawa
  • 1& ½ cup Water
  •  1 tbsp Chopped Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander
  • 1 tsp whole Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Fine Chopped Green Chillies
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • Pinch of Baking Soda
  • Oil for frying

Method

  • Soak the Kesari Rawa for 30 minutes
  • Grind it into a fine paste
  • Add in ginger, coriander, green chilies, cumin, salt & baking soda and mix well
  • Make small wadas by applying oil on hand
  • Warm the oil
  • Deep fry until it turns golden brown and crispy
  • Serve with sambhar and chutney
Tips:-  You can replace water with curd.
