Payasam with Lapsi

With the richness of all the dry fruits, this creamy and tasty dish helps to keep your body fit by offering high protein and keeping your digestive tract healthy.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Gajraj Royale Lapsi
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 cups Milk ·
  • 1 cup granulated Sugar
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped Dry Fruits (Almond, Cashew & Pistachio)
  •  1/4 cup Raisins
Tips :- This is also known as “Kheeran”
 
 

Method

  • In a pan, add ghee and let it melt
  • Roast Lapsi
  • Once done add dry fruits, roast for 2-3 minutes
  • Add 1 cup milk and let it simmer
  • Add sugar and let it melt
  • Add cardamom powder and stir
  • Add remaining milk, cover & cook
  • Add few raisins and save some for later
  • Once done garnish with more dry fruits and raisins
